NEWSFLASH - RYA TRAINING CENTER

In 2011, aiming at March, we start with RYA Cruising and RYA Keelboat courses

Sailing as Optimal Experience is our mission. In order to achieve this we have to sail as a team. We want everyone to participate, up to his own level and ambitions. We need the knowledge to sail safe, fast and comfortable. We require the experience to manage the yacht and deal with the unexpected.

Our trainingprogramme is focussed on:

learn the basic skipper skills and techniques: manoevring, sailhandling and -trim, safety, navigation, basic meteo
learn the essential crew requirements: rope- and winch handling, sailtrim, manoevring assistence
interaction between the skipper and the crew: roles and tasks, communication, planning and preparation.

And even for us there's more in life than sailing. Therefore we offer you multiple day trainingprogrammes whereby you stay in a comfortable house on shore and combine sailing with everything else Portimao and the Algarve have to offer.

For a 4 persons, 7 days accomodation and 3 days sailingarrangement prices starting at 1500 euros.
